Learn what actually happens inside a life insurance company (pricing, valuation, LDTI, IFRS17) — even if you have zero real-world experience.
Who this is for:
Who this is NOT for:
Most actuarial students have the same problem:
👉 This course fixes that gap.
I moved to the U.S. with actuarial exams… but no local experience.
I got rejected.
Not because I wasn’t smart.
But because I didn’t understand how real life insurance work actually happens.
That’s the gap no exam teaches.
It took me years to figure it out.
👉 This course gives you that in 5 hours.

The primary audience for this course are actuarial students, entry level actuaries and intermediate actuaries with 1 to 4 years of experience. However I believe Associates and Fellows will find certain modules to be beneficial, especially where they do not have prior experience on, and they can claim CPD credits for those.
Yes. Many modules such as LDTI, PBR, IFRS17, Profit Measures, Experience Studies, Reinsurance etc. have spreadsheets included with them for download.
No. The course will be available for lifetime.
Under the US Qualification Standard (USQS) or the SOA CPD Requirement, this would be self-study credit (called “other” credit in the USQS.). The amount of credit would be based on how long it took someone to complete the course. CPD is supposed to be earned for something that broadens or expands actuary’s knowledge. For example if a valuation actuary attends the pricing lesson and it broadens their pricing knowledge, they’ll have to make sure they only claim the time spent on the pricing course.

Although there are no pre-requisites per se, the course expects the attendee has the basic level understanding of actuarial science, and has already either started pursuing the actuarial profession or started taking the exams. Fresh college graduates with no prior actuarial interest will find some lessons to be technical.
